โ 1 package Sweet Lorenโs Puff Pastry dough
โ Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 Tbsp milk)
โ 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
โ ยผ cup granulated sugar
โ 1 tsp vanilla extract
โ ยฝ cup strawberry preserves
โ 1 cup thinly sliced strawberries
โ ยผ cup powdered sugar

preparation
step 1 Preheat the oven to 425ยฐF. Roll outย Sweet Lorenโs Puff Pastry Dough.
step 2ย Cut the dough in half lengthwise. Then cut each strip of dough into 6 evenly sized rectangles. Dock the pieces of puff pastry all over with a fork then place them onto a baking sheet, spacing them 1 inch apart.ย
step 3 Brush the tops with egg wash then bake them in the oven for 15-17 minutes until golden brown. Set them aside to cool.
step 4ย While the puff pastry bakes, make the cream cheese filling. Add cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract into a bowl. Beat the mixture together with a hand mixer until creamy and fluffy. Set aside.step 5 When the puff pastry has cooled, transfer the cream cheese filling into a piping bag or plastic bag, and cut off the tip. Pipe a layer of the cream cheese filling onto half of the puff pastry rectangles.
step 6 Spread a layer of the strawberry preserves on top of the cream cheese. Then add on a layer of the sliced strawberries. Top the napoleons with the remaining puff pastry rectangles then dust powdered sugar on top. Enjoy!
