- ½ zucchini, sliced thin
- ½ yellow squash, sliced thin

preparation
step 1 Preheat oven to 425F.
step 2 Cut puff pastry into 12 squares.
step 3 Fold the corners over the edge 1/4 inch and pinch into place.
step 4 Place on a lined baking sheet and prick the center of each square with a fork several times.
step 5 Top the squares with zucchini slices and sprinkle each with salt and pepper.
step 6 Brush the edges of the pastry with milk and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using).
step 7 Bake at 425º F for 13-15 minutes, until golden brown.
