- 1 Sweet Loren's Puff Pastry
- Egg Wash (1 beaten egg + 2 tsp mil mixed well with fork, use just milk for an egg-less option)
- Cinnamon Sugar Filling (1/4 cup of packed brown sugar + 1 tsp of cinnamon + 1 tbsp oat flour mixed well together in a small bowl)
- Glaze (1/2 cup of confectioner's sugar + 2 tsp of milk + 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon + 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract whisked together until slightly thick but still runny enough to be poured)

Missing a sweet pop-tart style dish in your life? Well, let us introduce you to: the Puff Tart. Your new favorite pastry hybrid featuring the incredible new Sweet Loren's puff pastry dough. You'll have flaky, sweet, mouth-watering, homemade puff tarts ready in less than 30 minutes!
preparation
step 1 Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
step 2 Unroll Puff Pastry dough. Cut dough into 8 equal rectangles with pizza knife or knife so you can make 4 puff tarts that have a top & bottom. Brush all the rectangles with the egg wash.
step 3 Place 1 heaping tbsp of cinnamon sugar filling onto half of the rectangles, leaving 1/4" border around the edges of the rectangle so there is space to crimp and close the puff tart.
step 4 Place the rectangles without the filling on top of the ones with the filling. You'll have 4 puff tarts. Poke a few holes in the tops with your fork or a tooth pick so steam can escape when backing to make a flaky and delicious pastry. Seal edges closed by crimping lightly with a fork around al four sides. Place puff tarts on a baking pan.
step 5 Place puff tarts in the fridge while waiting for the oven to preheat so the pastry stays cold - the key to flakiness! Once chilled, remove from the fridge and brush the top of the puff tart with your egg wash or milk to give it that beautiful golden color and shine when baked.
step 6 Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven until puffed and lightly golden brown. Let the puff tart cool, then spread glaze over the top. Let the glaze harden over 15 minutes, and enjoy!
