preparation
step 1 Remove Sweet Loren’s Cookie Doughs from the fridge and soften, at room temperature, about 20 minutes.
step 2 Preheat oven to 325F and flour your work surface with 1-2 tbsp of flour
step 3 As soon as the dough is nice and soft, combine the cookie portions together and knead them until you have one big ball of cookie dough. Push down the dough so that it becomes a little more flat and easier to roll.
step 4 Grab your rolling pin and start rolling. Roll the dough until 1/4 inch thick.
step 5 Using your cookie cutters, cut out your cookies and place on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
step 6 Once you have all cookies cut out, place the tray in the fridge for 10 minutes, or freeze for 5 minutes, until the dough feels hard to the touch. If you want to bake sprinkles into the cookies, add them before refrigerating/freezing your tray and push into the dough.
step 7 Bake for 10-12 minutes for chewy cookies or 13-15 minutes for a crispier cookie.
step 8 Remove from oven and place on cooling rack and allow cooling completely before icing.
step 9 Time to decorate with homemade icing. Let the icing set. Enjoy!
