It has been a crazy year after winning the Next Big Small Brand Contest on January 12th, 2011. Yes, we remember that day very, very well. It changed my life! We won branding & design work from The Rooster Design Group; 3 months free PR from First Press PR; and a month free at The Brooklyn Flea. It was an ahhhmazing prize, and kept this whole year jam-packed.

It all started with meetings with the talented Rooster Group. We went through different looks of packaging – the colors, the feel, the copy. Once we decided on a fun, bright and bold look, we then decided to change the type of packaging. We wanted to change from a tub where you scooped out the cookie dough & brownie batter…to a box with break-&-bake cookie dough and take-&-bake brownie batter already in a pan, to make it easier for anyone to bake us at home with no fuss, mess or cleanup.

And, tadaaa! We went from blah to beautiful! We went from tub to box! We went from a complete start-up all natural baked goods company to a branded all natural ready-to-bake desserts small business! We could not be happier (or more grateful) with the results. Meanwhile, we spent our summer selling baked cookies and brownies at the Fort Greene Brooklyn Flea, Smorgasburg, and many events to get people to try our products out – preparing them for our launch in December.

For the last year, all peanut butter lovers out there were requesting a PB flavor. So, we listened! The new flavor is a slight twist on a classic PB cookie – it is called the Nutty Peanut Butter Oatmeal cookie dough…it’s chewy, nutty, with chunks of peanuts. YUM.
