May: Celiac Awareness Month & National Allergy Awareness Month
It’s perfect timing that we launched our newest product, Gluten Free Chocolate Chunk cookie dough, in May because it is both Celiac Awareness & National Allergy Awareness Month.
The three biggest requests we received from fans was: when are you making a gluten free cookie? A vegan cookie? A nut free cookie? So, I set out to create the most delicious cookie dough that would be all those things: gluten free, vegan and nut free. It took two years to create this special recipe (and hundreds of pounds of cookie dough later!) I knew this recipe was finally it when I gave our team samples and they couldn’t tell it was “gluten free” or “vegan”!
Thrilled we created a cookie dough that’s the first-of-its-kind and will make many people happy that lead lifestyles that are gluten free; dairy free; vegan; nut free; and natural, whole food based. We also love this product because it’s plant based, meaning it’s more environmentally friendly because it is animal product free.
Unlike most gluten free products (that taste gritty), our cookie is soft & chewy. We can’t wait to see what you think. Stay tuned for more gluten free and vegan recipes incorporating this new cookie dough – from my kitchen to yours!
